24 Weeks

I had my 24 week appointment!  We had a follow-up ultrasound that focused on the baby’s heart (no pictures).  God is good, because everything looked healthy and strong!  We don’t have to go through anymore heart tests, and the doctors feel very confident that baby Wagoner will be born with a strong, healthy heart.  I measured 25 weeks (only one week ahead).  I also put on a few extra pounds during Thanksgiving and my birthday :)  Whoops!
My next appointment will be at 28 weeks when they test for gestational diabetes.  After that, I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks.  How does time go so fast?!  I’m feeling great right now.  I am still sleeping well, and my energy level is about normal.  Even better, my morning sickness is only striking about 2-3 times a week!  I’m having heartburn like crazy (which never happened when I was pregnant with Jacob), but Tums seem to do the trick.
Dan has worked really hard on the nursery this past weekend…and I’m LOVING it!  I have been taking progressive pictures, but I’m going to wait for the finished product before I post anything.  Right now our crib is back ordered :(  I’m getting impatient because I feel like once tax season starts I’m not going to have time to focus on the baby like I do right now.  Or is that called nesting?!
Here is a 24 week picture.  I was accused of not showing off my belly, so hopefully this picture gives you a better idea of just how much I’m growing :)  Harper wanted to participate…and the stripes on my shirt look a little crazy!
