Happy Birthday, Jacob
Posted under: Happy 11th birthday to our special little boy (his actual birthday is March 20, 2000)! I struggled with Jacob turning 10 because we moved into double digits…11 wasn’t any easier :) I just wish I could freeze time and keep him young, innocent, and protected. Why do kids have to grow up so fast?
Jacob had many birthday celebrations that lasted almost an entire month…that is the benefit of having a big family! On the other hand, he has a long list of thank-you notes to write, too.
The first party was with friends – we took the boys out to dinner, to see Rango at the movie theater (good, but not great, movie), and then back to our house to spend the night.
The second party was with my dad, step-mom (Bampy and Gammy), and Kylie. Dan and I weren’t there, so I have no pictures to prove it…just a giant bag of presents!
The third party was just the three of us. We decided to let Jacob celebrate with us on Friday night. We went out to dinner at Fazolis, back to our house to open presents, and then to the Melting Pot for chocolate fondue dessert. It was DELICIOUS!
Finally, we had a party at our house with the Wagoner and Conley family on Sunday, Jacob’s actual birthday. Everyone came to our house, and they brought loads of food and presents. Did I mention that Jacob is spoiled?!?
Happy Birthday to our baby boy who is growing up faster than I ever dreamed…he is such a blessing and amazing young man!
