Quickly Changing

Yesterday Brennan was 4 weeks old already! Time is going so quickly…if I could, I would make him one day old again and relive the last four weeks. Brennan is such a blessing to our family! He made our family dynamic change and we’ve had to reassess our routines and schedules, but it is so worth it.
I read the book Baby Wise (thanks to the advice of a great friend), and I’ve tried to schedule Brennan according to the book. So far, it has paid off! He is eating about every 2 1/2 hours during the day. His last night feeding is at 9:30 p.m., he wakes up at 2:30 a.m. to eat, and then again at 6:30 a.m. (and is up for the day)! I am starting to feel more rested, and we are getting out of the house more and more.
We’ve experienced a lot of changes in the last few weeks. Here is an update:
He started staying awake a little more during the day (his eyes are still a dark gray)
He loves sleeping with his daddy
He lost his umbilical cord
He hated his first tub bath!
He started stretching out his arms more, but he still keeps his legs curled up :)
He is getting better with his pacifier
Tub bath #2 went much better!
He is smiling a lot, but it is HARD to catch on camera. Here is my best effort!
He met his great-grandpa, Dean. Grandpa was so proud of him!
