This was a big month! At the beginning of the month, Bren learned how to move from sitting to all fours. He will rock back and forth, move his hands, and move his legs…just not all at the same time! When he is laying down, he rolls around the room to get where he wants to go. We call him a tumbleweed :) And at the end of the month he started going from laying down to sitting up. I walked into his bedroom to get him up one morning, and he was sitting there waiting for me. It was so stinking cute!
He is getting better at waving. In the mornings, while we are waking up and nursing, he will wave good morning to the news anchors on TV. He is also starting to bang toys together and loves the noise it makes. A checklist of development milestones would also tell me to list “object permanence.” In other words, when Harper dashes out of the room, he looks for her because he knows she is still there :)
Last but not least, he cut his first two teeth! I dropped him off at daycare one morning with no teeth, and I picked him up with two teeth. I’ve been saying he is teething for about 4 months, so I’m finally glad that I was right :)
You want me to sit in a shopping cart? Sure, why not? I’m big enough.
Showing off how cute he is before bed
This is what most pictures look like these days :)
So thankful for you, baby boy!
