Reflecting on 2011

I think it is a good exercise to reflect on the year – to give thanks for where you have been and to better focus on where you are going.  What a great year 2011 was for the Wagoner family!  Here is a summary:

  • We started the year with a pregnant mama!  Erin was not looking forward to tax season while very, very pregnant.
  • Harper turned one!  It feels like she has always been a member of our family.
  • Decorating Brennan’s nursery was a great distraction – keeping us occupied while waiting for his arrival.
  • Icepocolipse 2011
  • Baby showers – family, friends, love, gifts, and blessings!
  • Jacob turned 11.  How is this possible?
  • Brennan Dean was born on March 30, 2011.  His birth is on our “top five best days ever” list :)
  • Jacob played lacrosse for the first time.  He did really well, loved his team and the competitiveness, and Dan and I had fun watching!
  • Erin LOVED maternity leave.  Every. Single. Second.
  • We went on a summer vacation to South Haven, MI.  If you haven’t been, you should.  Seriously – start planning.
  • Erin completed her 7th year at KSM.
  • Dan turned 30!!  He spent 3 days in the wilderness of Colorado with Levi to celebrate.
  • Jacob spent another week at Springhill in southern Indiana.  Luke, his best pal, went with him, and they were dirty, exhausted messes when we picked them up!
  • Football season - the Colts and Jacob’s team both lost almost all of their games, but Jacob’s head coach and GM didn’t get fired :)
  • Happy halloween!  Jacob was Link from Zelda, and Brennan wore Jacob’s costume from 11 years ago.  He was a little pea pod!
  • Dan completed his 2nd year at Rare Bird.
  • Erin turned 31.  Who cares?  Really not that big of a deal.
  • We dedicated Brennan at Northview church.  Promising to raise our boys in a Christian home, centered around God.  Knowing we would have nothing, if we didn’t have God’s grace and forgiveness.
  • Merry Christmas :)  so fun to celebrate as a family of four!
